Edufest 2015

In October as part of the annual recognition of Cancer Awareness Month, the Cancer Society hosts an educational fair ‘Edufest’ which seeks to promote awareness among the youths of the nation. This encourages the youths to become involved in the campaign, by educating them about the dangers of the disease as well the preventative methods available through nutrition and lifestyle.  Given the fact that increased UV radiation can lead to increased skin cancer, the National Ozone Unit participated in the Edufest disseminating information on skin protection and skin cancer.
