The National Ozone Unit is seeking to improve the skills and competency for service technicians at large refrigeration and air conditioning stores across Trinidad and Tobago. A session aimed at building capacity toward natural refrigerant was held on April 23 at Unicomer Trinidad. The session included both a theoretical and practical component.
The National Ozone Unit took the opportunity to celebrate Earth Day 2024 and highlight the synergies that exist between the refrigeration and air conditioning sector and many environmental issues facing the globe today. Several brochures and booklets were shared as well as videos shown to educate on this issue.
The National Ozone Unit was pleased to support our technical vocational schools with a handover of an R290 training unit for the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Programme of the Penal Technology Center located in Penal. The handover was followed by a talk to the students.
