The Metal Industries Company Limited Institute of Technology (MI-IT) will be handling the administration of the Professional Certification Scheme for Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technicians as at July 1, 2021. The National Ozone Unit is excited for this new collaboration with the MIC-IT and will continue to support the initiative and MIC-IT as this Scheme continues to grow. In order to effect a smooth transition a sensitization session was held between the NOU and the MIC-IT and information will be released into the public domain on ways in which RAC technicians can become certified and re-certified.
