The National Ozone Unit commemorated World Refrigeration Day 2024 with an outreach activity and display at the University of the West Indies, School of Education, St. Augustine.
The Showcase brought together Secondary teachers across schools in Trinidad and Tobago. Many of the attendees were teachers of the CXC CAPE Syllabus in which the environment is a core module. Information was shared on the importance of the ozone layer, ways to protect it and the role that we all play in making environmentally conscious choices when dealing with refrigeration and air conditioning.
