The National Ozone Unit continues to support training of technicians at Technical Vocational Schools throughout Trinidad and Tobago. To this end the Trinzuela Technical and Vocational College was given a Recovery Unit and recovery tanks, through funding provided by the Montreal Protocol under the HCFC Phase out Management Plan, to support RAC technician training in good refrigeration practices.

Sensitization on Engaging Professionally Certified RAC Technicians
The National Ozone Unit was invited to give an address at a Conference held at Hyatt on April 24 2018 focusing on energy efficiency. The opportunity was taken to educate the audience on the Montreal Protocol and the benefits of engaging professionally certified RAC technicians.
