Sensitization of sales personnel within the RAC sector continued with another session at UNICOMER Curepe branch. Again persons were shown a presentation and the labels on these equipment were explained from an ozone and climate change perspective. Persons were also provided with reference materials for easy access to information.
The National Ozone Unit conducted sensitization of customs officer sharing pertaining information on issues relating to border control for substances controlled by the Montreal Protocol.
A series of Gender Workshops were held as part of the GEF Energy Efficiency in Refrigeration and AC (RAC) Project.
Throughout the
workshops, strategies for integrating gender-responsive
approaches into projects, were discussed, in order to ensure inclusivity and diversity in our work, as well as contributing to
advancing gender equality and empowerment.
The workshop provided a platform for networking and collaboration with fellow
stakeholders and experts in the field.
The agenda
included interactive sessions designed to enhance our understanding and
application of gender-inclusive practices.

Another batch of stakeholder sensitizations were conducted at Coleman's and Associated Ltd and Cool Wizz. Participants were eager to learn about the updates in the sector and ways this country is assisting in ensuring all the obligations under the Montreal Protocol are kept.
