Implementation of the Global Environment Facility Project continued with the an in country visit from the technical expert in district cooling DEVCCO based in Sweden. The visit has been delayed for some time due to the ongoing COVID pandemic but much work was furthered virtually in the interim. The week long mission included visits to potential pilot sites and meetings with various stakeholders. The project delegation included DEVCCO, the Project Management Unit Staff, the UNDP Country Office and representatives from the Ministry of Planning and Development National Ozone Unit. The 4 year project is expected to be completed in 2024.
