Today, June 26th Trinidad and Tobago joins the world in celebrating the first annual World Refrigeration Day. This day was set as a result of trade associations and professional entities from the industry coming together in recognition of how far the refrigeration industry has advanced in the last century on services which have become essential for the quality of life. These services include the adequate preservation and transportation of food and beverages, storage of vaccines and other medicines, and processes within the industrial and manufacturing sector.
Efforts made by the refrigeration industry has an impact on billions of lives, as it seeks to innovate for more comfort and efficiency with less impact on the environment in particular the ozone layer and the climate.
Trinidad and Tobago will be celebrating World Refrigeration Day 2019 with a series of activities including training sessions, displays and public notices.
