Did You Know........ 35 years ago, scientists discovered that
manmade chemicals had caused a massive hole to form in the ozone layer,
threatening life as we know it. The world acted as one and adopted the Vienna
Convention that led to the Montreal Protocol to ban ozone depleting substances.
Today the ozone layer is healing and expected to return to pre-1980s levels by
2060.
