As a result of the ongoing COVID 19 Pandemic and closer of borders the Caribbean ozone Officer continue to further the work of the Montreal Protocol through virtual means. The UNEP ROLAC facilitated an informal meeting of ozone officers in March 2021 where updates where given on the status of country implementation of the Montreal Protocol and challenges encountered to date in implementation. Trinidad and Tobago participated in these discussions and noted that despite the COVID 19 challenges national implementation is on track.
