The National Ozone Unit recognized Earth Day 2021 through participating in a media interview to highlight the work of the Ozone Unit and the importance of protecting the Ozone Layer. The link between ozone and climate change was also noted as well as the implementation of the Kigali Amendment to the Montreal Protocol
The National Ozone Unit also commemorated the day with awareness raising and distribution of informational material.
